Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how many homes have been sold to first-time buyers under the Help to Buy scheme in (a) England, (b) London, (c) London Borough of Islington and (d) Islington South and Finsbury constituency in each of the last four years.

Answer

Since the launch of the Help to Buy schemes, the total number of homes sold to first time buyers through these schemes is 68,605 in England, of which 4,719 were in London. Comparable figures are not available for the London Borough of Islington.

Figures for Help to Buy sales to first time buyers are not available for the constituency.
