Since 2009, approximately £25 million has been spent on East Coast station enhancements. This majority of this funding comes from schemes such as the Station Commercial Project Facility Fund. The biggest enhancement schemes since 2009 have been at Newcastle (c.£8.5 million), Wakefield (c.£8.2 million) and Peterborough (c.£ 1.9 million).
