To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, whether she is taking steps to enact a permanent statutory ban on fracking, including by (1) addressing the exemption in the fracking moratorium which permits applications for low-volume hydraulic fracturing, and (2) ensuring that any permanent ban applies to areas already covered by existing licences.
