To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer to Question 16442 on 15 July 2026 on Housing: Sales, which industry datasets her Department uses to monitor failed residential property transactions; what assessment she has made of the adequacy of the completeness and representativeness of those datasets; and if she will publish the baseline estimate of the number, value and principal stated causes of transaction failures prior to the implementation of the proposed home-buying reforms.
