To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what the cost to the public purse was of producing the video published on his Department’s X account on 25 August 2026, including the cost of (a) the cake, (b) fees and expenses paid to participants, (c) filming and production, (d) editing and (e) other costs.

There were no fees associated with the production of the video. We used in-house resource to film and edit it, and the participant did not charge fees for appearance, expenses or the cake.
