Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, when the city-region mayor created by the Greater Manchester devolution agreement will be subject to term limits.

Answer

No. We do not support term limits in local government. The ballot box provides the best mechanism for the electorate to endorse or remove an elected representative.
