Cancer Drugs Fund (27 January 2015)

Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what revised estimate he has made of the total Cancer Drugs Fund spend for 2015-16, following the re-evaluation of the Cancer Drugs Fund list in December 2014.

Answer

NHS England estimates that an increase of £60 million will be made to the Cancer Drugs Fund in 2015/16; from £280 million in 2014/15 to an expected £340 million in 2015/16.
