Answer

I refer the hon Member to the answer given to Question UIN 10286 on 29 October 2024.

Individuals granted refugee status are eligible for assistance from their local authority in finding accommodation, if homeless, as well as temporary accommodation if they have a priority need. The Homelessness Code of Guidance sets out the framework which local authorities must follow when carrying out their homelessness duties.
