To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what funding the Government has allocated to the Prevent strategy for (a) 2013-14, (b) 2014-15 and (c) 2015-16.

Answer
Government allocation for the Prevent strategy in 2013–14 and 2014–15 is as follows:
Financial Year Funding Amount (£)
2013-2014 39 million
2014-2015 40 million
At this stage, the 2015/16 budget for the Prevent Strategy is yet to be finalised.
