To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 6 November 2014 to Question 212899, whether it is his Department's policy to encourage NHS staff to become dementia friends.

Answer
The Department would encourage as many people as possible, including NHS staff, to become Dementia Friends in order to help people with dementia live more independent lives in their communities.
