PARLIAMENTARY WRITTEN QUESTION
Boilers: Prices (20 February 2024)
Question Asked
Asked by:
Helen Morgan (Liberal Democrat)
Answer
All companies, including boiler manufacturers, have obligations in law not to act in ways which prevent, restrict or distort competition. Vigorous competition is important for ensuring that consumers can benefit from the most efficient prices. The Government regularly considers how competition is functioning in a range of markets and whether there may be value in a closer review in certain cases.
