Blue Badge Scheme: Applications (13 October 2023)

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether his Department has had recent discussions with local authorities on the potential merits of increasing funding for the processing of blue badge applications.

Local authorities are responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Blue Badge scheme, although the Department for Transport provide the overall criteria nationally, and officials regularly engage with them about different aspects of the scheme.
