Health Services: Finance (3 May 2023)

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if he will place in the House of Commons Library a list of cases considered by the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England’s Joint Investment Committee each month of the last three years including (a) the proposing body, (b) the value of the proposal, (c) at what stage a decision on the business case was made, (d) whether the original business case was approved by the proposing body and (e) whether the proposal was subject to a Gateway Review.

A table is attached due to the size of the data. Once the Joint Investment Committee considers a business case, it may clear to proceed to necessary Ministerial and HM Treasury approval, reject or request additional information or resubmission.
