Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he will take to improve mental health among people under the age of 25 claiming Personal Independence Payment.

Asked by:
Karin Smyth (Labour)

Answer

We are committed to increasing investment into expanding and transforming mental health services by at least £2.3 billion a year by 2023/24 so that an additional two million people, including those under 25 claiming personal independence payment, can get the National Health Service funded mental health support they need.
