Asked by:
Dr Rosena Allin-Khan (Labour)

Answer

We are investing £100 million to support perinatal mental health and parent-infant relationships through the Family Hubs and Start for Life programme in 75 local authorities. In addition, the Supporting Families Programme will assist a further 300,000 families facing multiple interconnected issues. Health visitors and school nurses also provide targeted prevention measures to promote improved mental health for children and families at greatest risk.
