Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the Women’s Health Strategy published on 20 July 2022, and the specific commitment to commission a reproductive health experiences survey every two years, (a) what progress has been made in commissioning this survey, (b) what plans her department has to develop the survey through consultation with stakeholders and (c) how will her department ensure that the experiences of disadvantaged groups are captured in the survey.

Answer

The Department is currently commissioning an external organisation to deliver the inaugural women’s reproductive health experiences survey in 2023. We intend to ensure that the survey is developed through consultation with stakeholders and that the experiences of disadvantaged groups are recorded.
