Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what contingency plans his Department has in place for emergency mental health provisions during periods of extreme heat.

Answer

The National Health Service has existing contingency plans for a range of scenarios, and patients seeking care or medical advice can continue to do so, including in periods of extreme heat.
