Feryal Clark (Labour)
Answer
While no additional funding is planned, we have provided more than £3.4 billion to local authorities through the Public Health Grant to invest in essential frontline services, including sexual and reproductive health. The UK Health Security Agency (UKSHA) is working with local authorities and system partners to contain the monkeypox outbreak, including the identification and management of infected cases. The UKHSA has also published a vaccine strategy, which includes advice on vaccination of individuals at increased risk.
