Feryal Clark (Labour)
Answer
Officials are ensuring alignment between the action plans for sexual and reproductive health and women’s health through sharing the evidence gathered during the call for evidence to inform the Women’s Health Strategy. While both strategies will address issues relating to women’s reproductive health, the plans for improving sexual and reproductive health will include broader topics affecting the whole population. Similarly, the Women’s Health Strategy will address a range of issues in addition to reproductive health, such as how health conditions affect men and women differently and research and evidence.
