To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if his Department will take steps to develop NICE guidelines on the diagnosis and management of PCOS.

Answer
There are currently no plans to ask the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to develop a guideline on polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). With NICE and NHS England and NHS Improvement, we will consider the development of a guideline on PCOS through the established processes for identifying and prioritising topics for guideline development.
