To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what plans he has to support local authorities with social care workforce recruitment and retention funds beyond 31 March 2022.

Answer

There are currently no plans for any further workforce recruitment and retention funds after 2021/22. However, we are continuing to work with providers, councils and partners to assess the situation and consider what further action may be necessary.
