Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what plans he has to support local authorities with social care infection prevention costs after 31 March 2022.

Answer

We have provided £1.81 billion for infection prevention and control in the social care sector during the pandemic. We continue to monitor public health advice and data from the frontline to assess what support the adult social care sector needs and will do so beyond 31 March 2022.
