HIV Infection: Disease Control (15 October 2021)

Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the announcement on 30 January 2019 by the Government of its commitment to end new HIV transmissions in England by 2030, what recent discussions he has had with the Chancellor of the Exchequer on the provision of funding to meet that commitment.

Answer

The forthcoming Spending Review will set out funding for health and social care, including for the new HIV Action Plan, for future years.
