Test and Trace Support Payment (21 October 2020)

Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether people who have to quarantine after returning from a holiday because the Government guidance changed during that holiday are eligible for for a self-isolation payment.

Answer

The Test and Trace Support Payment of £500 does not cover people who are in quarantine after returning to the United Kingdom from abroad, unless they have tested positive for coronavirus or have been told to stay at home and self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.
