Question Asked

To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities, whether her Department plans to reform the Gender Recognition Act 2004.

Answer

Any changes to the Gender Recognition Act must be carefully considered. We are working with colleagues across Government to consider the appropriate next steps on reform. We will publish our response to the consultation once these have been agreed.
