Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of trends in the level of ambulance response times in each year since 1997.

Answer

National Health Service ambulance trusts transitioned to new standards in December 2017, following a rigorous and independent evaluation of the clinically-led Ambulance Response Programme (ARP). As a result, data is not comparable pre- and post the ARP. National and individual ambulance NHS trust level performance data is published monthly by NHS England, and can be found at the following link:
