To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what the average payment made to adult victims of child sexual exploitation and abuse were by gender under the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority in each of the last five years.

Answer

The data provided relates to applications for incidents of sexual assault or abuse made from 1 February 2015 until 30 January 2019. The data provided is from 1 February 2015 onwards, as from this date applicants for criminal injuries compensation were required to provide details of the category of crime which caused their injuries.
