Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what comparative estimate he has made of the levels of crime committed by British citizens and non-British citizens in each of the last five years.

Answer

The Home Office collects data on police recorded crime these are published quarterly by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). The latest Crime figures, for the year ending June 2018, can be accessed here:

However, the Home Office does not receive information on the citizenship of suspects.
