Question Asked

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent discussions he has had with the Attorney General on proposals to reform the law on corporate liability for economic crime.

Answer

The Ministry of Justice carried out a call for evidence on corporate criminal liability for economic crime in 2017, to establish whether further reform of the law was necessary. The response is expected to issue in 2019.
