Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what assessment his Department has made of the adequacy of the safety in accordance with International Maritime Law of Libya as a port of disembarkation.

Answer

​The British Government continues to raise the issue of migration with the Libyan authorities. This includes lobbying for compliance with International Maritime Law.
