To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will make an assessment of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence's technology appraisal criteria in relation to the provision of new treatments for patients with pancreatic cancer.

Answer
We have made no such assessment. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence is an independent body and is responsible for the development of its methods and processes, which it periodically updates in consultation with stakeholders.
