Question Asked

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what steps he is taking to reduce delays in benefit payments; and if he will make a statement.

Answer

DWP has made a number of operational improvements in benefit processes across each working age benefit, supporting both speed of clearance performance and overall customer experience. There are no delays in benefit payments, working age benefits are currently being paid on time.
