To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, for what reason the Government has not met its deadline for announcing whether to launch an independent judge-led inquiry into UK involvement in torture and rendition.

The Government is continuing to give the necessary careful consideration to the need for an independent judge-led inquiry.
