PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
Brawdy Radar Installation (17 April 1990)
Motion Details
That this House rejects the construction of the giant radar installation at Brawdy in Wales at a time of growing East-West understanding; notes its opposition to the enormous scale of the construction and the impact on the local community and environment in the Solfach and St. David's area; expresses its concern at the possible implications for public health; declares its abhorrence of the fact that the plan came to light only because of disclosure of information in the Pentagon; and urges the Prime Minister to issue a statement at an early date stating that the plan shall not go ahead.
