Otters and the Abolition of Mink Hunting (2 April 1990)
Motion Details
That this House welcomes the decision of the Irish Government not to renew any licence for otter hunting thereby abolishing this so called sport in Eire; notes that the otter is an endangered species in Britain; and calls upon Her Majesty's Government to ban mink hunting because of the detrimental effect on the otter population.
