Faroese Massacre of Pilot Whales (3 July 1990)
Motion Details
That this House expresses its profound revulsion at and detestation of the cruel and barbarous massacre of pilot whales by Faroese people; demands that the Danish Government take prompt action to end this practice which appears to owe more to blood-lust than economic necessity; and calls upon all those in the United Kingdom concerned for animal welfare to boycott Danish foodstuffs until action by the Danish authorities.
