PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
REMAINING NAZI WAR CRIMINALS (18 May 1992)
Motion Details
That this House notes with approval that a notorious Nazi war criminal, Schwammberger, has just been sentenced by a German court to life imprisonment for mass murder; that amongst his numerous killings were the murder of inmates who were stripped naked on 11th September 1943, in the Przemysl camp near Krakow and shot in groups of fifty, swinging babies against walls to kill them and setting Alsatian dogs to savage inmates to death, strongly believes there can be no hiding places for such criminals and that the Syrian authorities should therefore allow Alois Brunner to be extradited to Germany to stand trial; and further believes that the British Government should now release without further delay the documents which still remain classified on the Nazi occupation of the Channel Islands and the activities at the time of Klebeck, a German citizen.
