PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
COMPENSATION FOR DELAYS TO BENEFITS AGENCY (23 June 1992)
Motion Details
That this House expresses extreme disquiet at the totally unacceptable delays experienced by people claiming disability living allowance from the Benefits Agency, and on having their appeals heard; and believes that compensation should be paid for the distress and inconvenience caused when delays for sometimes terminally ill claimants extend over a matter of weeks.
