PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
DISABILITY LIVING ALLOWANCE CLAIMS: DELAYS IN SETTLEMENT (18 October 1992)
Motion Details
That this House notes with extreme concern the length of time currently being taken to deal with claims for disability living allowance; protests at this injustice to disabled people who thereby have to wait and suffer before receiving their full entitlements; and calls upon the Secretary of State for Social Security to take urgent action to resolve this utterly unsatisfactory situation.
