VOTER REGISTRATION (25 November 1992)
Motion Details
That this House notes with concern the continuing rise in the numbers of people eligible to vote who have chosen not to appear on electoral registers; notes that this rise is particularly severe amongst young people; believes that this trend, if it continues unchecked, is damaging to the democratic system; and accordingly calls on all elected representatives at local and national level to do all in their power to encourage all those eligible to register to vote.
