PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
CHURCHES' NATIONAL HOUSING COALITION (11 November 1992)

Motion Details

That this House welcomes the establishment of the Churches' National Housing Coalition; supports the Coalition's contention that the growth and persistence of homelessness and bad housing is a matter of grave concern now which will affect future generations; and further supports the Coalition's call for a greater public and private investment in the provision of affordable rented housing, for further measures to deal with the problem of homelessness especially among young people, and for a restructuring of the housing finance system, which will be to the benefit of those with decent homes and those without.
