Motion Details
leave out from 'House' to end and add 'notes that the contribution made towards rent and running costs of the constituency offices of the honourable Members for Sheffield is available to all Sheffield honourable Members of any party,by virtue of a minute of the Corporate Estates Committee,in March 1983, in order to offer easy access for the voters of Sheffield to their elected representatives; further notes that the honourable Member for Sheffield,Hallam, was offered such accommodation in response to his enquiry in a letter from the Chief Executive in August 1987; also notes that accommodation is made available to honourable Members of both parties,in many areas, for example the honourable Member for Sutton Coldfield,in a grant from Birmingham City Council,to enable them to meet constituents more readily;and further notes that it has taken 10 years for this question to be raised on the floor of this House.'.
