CENTENARY OF THE INDEPENDENT LABOUR PARTY (12 January 1993)
Motion Details
That this House congratulates the Labour Movement which created the Independent Labour Party in Bradford and subsequently the Labour Party for one hundred years of campaigning for the socialist ideals of a fair economic system, social justice, equal educational opportunity, decent housing, jobs for all, the best collective medical provision free at the point of use and a society which places people before profit; and honours Bradford as the birthplace of this great movement of working people and their families.
