Motion Details
That this House is opposed to the takeover bid for Hibernian Football Club by Heart of Midlothian Football Club; believes that the share manipulation and other corrupt practices should be investigated by the Scottish law officers; urges both sets of fans to unite against big business who wish to dominate the working-class game of football in the interest of profit; and reaffirms the view that Leith and Edinburgh have the right to have two separate and distinct clubs within the framework of the Scottish League.
