PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
CAPITAL PUNISHMENT IN JAMAICA (16 February 1993)

Motion Details

That this House regards with horror the report that the Jamaican Government will resume hanging convicted murderers after deciding which of that country's 352 condemned prisoners deserve reduced sentences or paroles; and calls upon that Government to recognise the extreme inhumanity of capital punishment, together with the possibility of miscarriages of justice, and to abolish it.
