PESTICIDES AND ANOPHTHALMIA (16 February 1993)

Motion Details

That this House notes the growing concern among some sections of the community with regard to the use of the fungicide, Benomyl and its circumstantial link with the conditions anophthalmia, children born with no eyes, and microphthalmia, children born with minute eyes; and urges the Secretary of State for Health to commission an independent inquiry into the causes of anophthalmia and microphthalmia.
