LANCASHIRE COUNTY AND LEYLAND DAF (11 February 1993)

Motion Details

That this House congratulates Lancashire County Council on its initiative in urging the involvement of Lancashire Enterprises Ltd. in mounting a rescue for Leyland DAF plant in the county; supports efforts of all affected local authorities to prevent the severe damage threatened to their local economies by the Leyland DAF crisis; and urges the Government to back up their initiatives in a positive and pro-active way.
