PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
PRESCRIPTIONS: LIMITED LIST (10 February 1993)
Motion Details
That this House condemns Government plans to add a further 10 categories of medicines to the limited list, thereby preventing them from being prescribed under the NHS; is appalled that the categories include contraceptive pills and drugs to combat skin disorders; notes the removal of these drugs is adding to a two-tier health service providing a wider range of drugs for those who can afford to pay; and believes that the removal of some contraceptive pills will lead to a lack of choice for women.
