PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
HOSPICES FOR CHILDREN (9 February 1993)
Motion Details
That this House condemns the cruel rule that forbids hospices for children with terminal illnesses from receiving the same government funding as hospices for adults; salutes the Rainbows campaign in Leicester for its fight against this rule; notes that some half of adult hospice funds are met by the National Health Service; and, in the name of commonsense and compassion, calls on the Government to ensure the same provision for children's hospices as it does for those for adults.
