PARLIAMENTARY EARLY DAY MOTION
SUB POST OFFICES AND PENSIONS AND OTHER BENEFITS (4 May 1993)

Motion Details

That this House, recognising the local services provided to communities by sub-post offices and realising that many people do not own cars or have bank accounts, is concerned that the Department of Social Security in Great Britain and the Department of Health and Social Services in Northern Ireland are contemplating the possibility of ceasing to use sub-post offices for the payment of pensions and other benefits.
